Aloha – and welcome to my little site – I am thrilled that you have found your way here!

My name is Charlie and I’m a Caribbean blogger – writing about island lifestyle with some recipes and travel guides thrown in.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to live in the British Virgin Islands! We recently downsized from the main island of Tortola (with a population of approximately 24,000) and now reside on the slightly sleepier, and far more relaxed sister-island, Virgin Gorda (only 4,000 of us here!) I’m here with my handsome husband and two very daft island dogs – or coconut retrivers, as they’re known.

Addicted to online shopping, statement jewelry, seafood, taking photos of my dogs, rose gold, champagne, adventuring, terrible television and boat days with my loves. Food, photography, family and friends (and not necessarily in that order) make my heart happy!
